An orientation program for first-year students of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was held on September 21–22, 2026.
During the program, students were provided with information about the academic and administrative structure of the university, faculty, and department. Campus facilities, including the library, sports facilities, social areas, and health services, were also introduced. In addition, students were informed about various units and centers they can benefit from, such as KARMER, PDRMER, and TOGÜSEM.
The orientation program also covered topics such as education and examination regulations, disciplinary procedures, exemption exams, campus-related regulations, the Zero Waste Project, and environmental awareness.
The program, which aimed to help students adapt more easily to university and departmental life, was coordinated by Res. Asst. Emrah Avcı, a member of the academic staff of our department.
